Our walking Korean Drama/actors encyclopedia, she brings all her knowledge of that genre to our podcasts. Not to forget the big feelings, loud reactions, and main-character energy she brings to every conversation—because if it’s not dramatic, is it even worth discussing?

Hi there, I’m Janet – the middle noona, with my 🫰friends who speak the same language as me and understand what I’m talking about when it comes to K-pop, Asian dramas and so much more. I live in Cincinnati, Ohio and was pretty much on an island on my own until I met these wonderful ladies at Woosung’s concert in 2024.
Since then, we have shared our passions and experiences and have found that even though the rabbit hole we went down may be different, it ends at the same place.
We want to share those experiences with others and have a fun place to expand and exchange that dialogue.
At 57, I’ve never had so much fun or travel.
K-pop is what reeled me in, in 2023 and I love sharing and learning about everyone else’s experience. What I know is that everyone has a story.

I’m Chrissie, the maknae (youngest) of the ‘three Noonas’.
I’m so excited to be connecting with you all through our podcast! For those of you who don’t know me, I live in the beautiful Alamogordo, New Mexico.
I’m originally from Germany, so please bear with me if my English isn’t always perfect. I’m always learning. At the fabulous age of 55 — because yes, age is absolutely just a number — I’m so excited to share this space with other mature-age fans, Silver Black Roses, and honestly anyone who enjoys a little chaos, laughter, and late-night fangirling. 😏
The whole point of Noonas_AfterHours is simple: entertainment, connection, and having fun without apology.
We’re here to laugh too loud, obsess over K-pop and Asian dramas, share hot takes, concert stories, emotional damage, and remind people that passion doesn’t come with an expiration date.
Just because we’re older doesn’t mean we stop loving music, traveling for concerts, staying up too late for “one more episode,” or finding joy in fandom spaces.
